~~ Heroism and Integrity: "The Life and Legacy of Jan Karski - Hero to the World." Jan Karski was a member of the Polish Underground during World War II. He brought the first eyewitness accounts of the Holocaust to a disbelieving West. In 2012, Karski was posthumously awarded the Medal of Freedom, the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a civilian, by President Obama. He is truly a "Hero to the World." Mark has spoken about the impact Jan Karski has had on humanity in a variety of venues. The life of Karski is one that listeners will be genuinely grateful to learn about.
